The Cowlitz Indian Tribe is holding its annual powwow at noon Saturday at the Cowlitz County Event Center in Longview.
The event is set to include a dozen dance categories from “tiny tots” to 55 and older, while grand entries are scheduled for noon and 7 p.m., according to the tribe’s website.
A salmon dinner will be served at 5 p.m. at the public event. This will be the 25th anniversary of the event with the theme “Carrying Our Culture Forward For The Next Generation.”
