Working through wet and windy conditions at Tumwater Valley Golf Club, Tenino’s David Dallaire made the cut at the 1A Evergreen Championship on Monday, shooting a 72 to advance to the second and final day.

Dallaire was one of the best golfers throughout the full 18 holes on Monday, finishing with one of the three best scores. As a result, he’ll tee off in the final group at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, a group that includes Seton’s Jacob Parker and Elma’s Grant Vessey, who he played with today.

That group will be the seventh of the day, with the first teeing off at 10 a.m. and the others following every 10 minutes.

While he was the only Beaver to advance, Dallaire wasn’t the only Tenino golfer on the course on Monday.

Ethan Baxter and Jaxson Gore both shot under 100, shooting a 98 and 99 respectively, while Carson Hart shot 100 on the dot.

Preston Snider wasn’t far behind at 102, and Gavin Burke rounded out the group with a 122.
