The Sacajawea Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will hold a Veterans Day memorial service next month to honor veterans of the Vietnam War.

The ceremony, which will take place at the Vietnam War Memorial at the Washington state Capitol campus, will include a name reading of veterans either killed or missing in action.

The event includes a commemorative pinning to recognize the country’s lasting gratitude.

The event recognizes soldiers who served from Nov. 1, 1955, to May 15, 1975.

The memorial service will take place Nov. 11 at 12:30 p.m. The name reading and pinning will begin at 12:30, and the name reading will continue until all names have been read.

The Sacajawea Chapter of the Daughters of American Revolution includes members in Lewis and Thurston counties.
