A driver was killed in a single-car crash in the Vancouver area Friday evening, authorities said.
The driver, whose identity hasn’t been released, appears to have lost control of the car on Northeast Padden Parkway at 94th Avenue at about 8:45 p.m., the Clark County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement. The Mercedes left the road and crashed into a traffic-signal pole.
The driver – the only person in the car – died at the scene, officials said.
The sheriff’s office’s Traffic Homicide Unit is investigating the crash.
