With events that lasted all through the evening, Winlock celebrated Halloween on Monday in unique style as the World’s Largest Egg was adorned in a costume as a jack-o-lantern, thanks to the Winlock Student Community Advocates group.
Named the Egg-O-Lantern Festival, the day saw face-painting, trick-or-treating, dancing, decoration contests, cake walks, a haunted house and costumes galore.
Group president Spencer Hoven sent a list of sponsors and participants to thank for the successful event and for support to the Winlock Student Community Advocates including: Cedar Village IGA, Willy T's Pumpkin Patch, Kelso Paint and Sip, Lewis County Coffee Co., Walmart, Lucky Number 3 Tattoo, Sight and Sound, Pacific Mobile, Safeway, Tibbits Excavating, Holiday Inn, Applebee's, I-5 Toyota, McMenamins Olympic Club, Toledo Market Fresh, Winlock Dance Center, Olequa Senior Center, Winlock Trunk Or Treat, TNS Outfitters and the Winlock High School Theater Club.
