Fagerness impresses, but Tigers fall to Bobcats

The Centralia golf team struggled in the rain on Wednesday, as the Tigers lost to Aberdeen 256-285.

Tyler Fagerness was the best player on the course at Riverside, as he finished with a match-best 41 to finish as the only Tiger to shoot below 50.

Jake Johnson shot a 52 to finish as Centralia’s No. 2, while Tristin Henning shot a 59. Paul Guthrie and Jonas Howard rounded out the Centralia scorers with a 66 and 67, respectively.



No Bobcat shot more than a 56, as Nick Benson (48) and Trevon Maynard (49) cleared 50 outright while Spencer Hill shot an even 50.

The Tigers will be back at Riverside on Monday to face W.F. West in Swamp Cup action.
