Lewis County Fire District 6 responded to a residential structure fire in the 100 block of Elloway Oaks Drive at approximately 11:20 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 7, according to a release from the department.
“Upon arrival Engine 61 found an attached garage with heavy smoke and flames showing,” the release stated. “The fire was extinguished and contained to the garage of the vacant home.”
Mutual aid was provided by Lewis County Fire District 5 and the Chehalis Fire Department.
No injuries were reported, according to the release. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
