Lewis County Emergency Management and Salkum Fire Chief Duran McDaniel will hold a meeting about forest fire risk and safety plans for all Salmon Creek and Koons Road-area residents at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 21, in the Salkum Fire Hall, located at 2490 U.S. Highway 12, Salkum.
The meeting will focus on forest fire risk in the immediate area, evacuation plans and utilization of Lewis County Alert System.
