Beginning at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 21, the Centralia church Ministerios Hogar De Fe will be giving out free frozen Thanksgiving Day turkeys — one per family — according to church secretary Reyna Morales.
Church members will be giving them out until 4:30 p.m. or until the turkeys run out. Currently, they have purchased at least 100 turkeys to give out and might buy more before Tuesday, Morales said.
“We don’t want to have any turkeys left,” Morales added.
The Ministerios Hogar De Fe church is located at 1227 Harrison Ave. in Centralia, behind Security State Bank.
