Friends of Winlock Library hold silent auction to raise funds

The Friends of the Winlock Timberland Regional Library will hold a silent auction fundraiser 0ct 5 through Oct. 19.

Auction items will be displayed at the library at 322 NE First St., Winlock, during regular library hours. Bidding will begin at 2 p.m. and end at 2 p.m. Oct. 19.

“Items up for bid have been meticulously created by local and PNW artists and craftsmen and can be viewed prior to the opening on the Friends of the Winlock Timberland Library Facebook page,” organizers stated in a news release. “This was a popular event in Winlock prior to 2020 and the (Friends of the Winlock Timberland Regional Library) are delighted to be able to offer the community the opportunity to bid on these one-of-a-kind art works while supporting the Winlock regional library — and just in time for Christmas shopping.”



Items include jewelry, large maple and walnut bowls, a framed watercolor painting, copper wall art, a hand-crafted wooden flute and more.

The Friends of the Winlock Timberland Library is a nonprofit charitable organization committed to literacy and the support of the Winlock library. All proceeds will benefit the library and its programs.
