The three Lewis County golfers to take the course at Wine Valley Golf Club this week saw their time at the Washington Men’s Amateur Championship in Walla Walla come to an end before the final day.
Rochester’s Kalib Knutson shot a 79 in his first round Tuesday and shaved five shots off that clip Wednesday, but his total at 9-over 153 failed to make the cut.
Seven shots behind Knutson came Chehalis’ Matt Gill, who finished on 160 after carding an 84 on Tuesday and a 76 on Wednesday.
Centralia’s Cole Wasson carded an 84 in his first round, but withdrew from the tournament before the second.
