Grays Harbor County man injured in crash, suspected of driving under the influence

A 53-year-old McCleary man was injured after a single-vehicle crash on state Route 108 early Sunday morning, according to the Washington State Patrol, which listed the cause of the crash as driving under the influence.

Christopher J. Hay was traveling west when he failed to stop at a stop sign, left the roadway and struck a tree, according to the state patrol. 



He was transported to Summit Pacific Medical Center in Elma. His 2019 Ford F-350 was towed from the scene. 

Hay was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to the state patrol.
