Over the past six months, deputies and detectives from the Grays Harbor County Sheriff’s Office were able to establish investigative leads on a burglary that happened in the Malone area on July 6, 2024.
Their investigation led them to the Graham and Eatonville area of Pierce County where they served several search warrants and were able to recover some of the stolen property from this burglary. A Ford F-250, a zero turn mower and some of the miscellaneous stolen tools were located.
Five suspects were arrested this week and taken into custody for various charges related to the burglary. They were all transported back to Grays Harbor County and booked into jail for their crimes.
Probable cause was also established for two additional suspects and charges were filed with the Grays Harbor Prosecutor’s Office charging them with burglary. They will be summoned to appear in court if not located before their appearance. More suspects are being sought at the time of this posting, and deputies are continuing to attempt to locate additional stolen property.
“Although this case took over five months to solve, our deputies and detectives did not give up investigating this case and we are hopeful that we will continue to recover additional stolen property,” said Undersheriff Kevin Schrader.
