Holiday Inn Express in Chehalis to hold ribbon-cutting in celebration of new renovations

Holiday Inn Express will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony in celebration of the completion of its new renovations. The ceremony takes place on Thursday, May 22, at 5 p.m. to 730 Liberty Place in Chehalis.

Renovations to the hotel, which opened in May of 2009, began in December of 2023 with management eager to update Holiday Inn Express since no substantial updates had been made since its opening.

Almost the entire hotel has been updated, with new flooring, paint and wallpaper, furniture, lighting and decor in all of the rooms. Common spaces such as the lobby, breakfast area, conference rooms, fitness center, and pool and spa have also been updated.

A new update at Holiday Inn Express is the new family suites, which sleep up to six guests and boasts a dining area, a kitchenette, a bunk space for kids and a separate room with a large king bed and a pullout couch.

Following the ribbon-cutting will be an open house with opportunities for attendees to tour the hotel and see the updated rooms and amenities. There will also be a grazing table and refreshments to enjoy after the ribbon-cutting. Attendees will have the opportunity to enter into a raffle to win gift bags and free event rental space.
