"Sisters Kairi Ayers Guenther, a 2023 Napavine High School graduate and current Centralia College student, and Kenzington Guenther, a Napavine fourth grader, each were awarded Grand Champion awards for their pigs on Sept. 17 at the Washington State Fair in Puyallup. Kairi's pig, named Ruff Nut, is a Red Duroc,” wrote their grandpa, Jerry Guenther, in an email to The Chronicle. “Kenzington's pig, named Ash, is a Yorkshire. Additionally, each sister received fourth-place ribbons for showing and fitting in their respective age brackets."
