More than 60 people were baptized in the Newaukum River during an event held by Bethel Church in Napavine on Sunday. “Today marks a moment that will be etched in my memory forever,” wrote Sean Swope, who captured these photos and provided them to The Chronicle. “It was truly moving to witness over 60 individuals, many of whom I hold in high esteem, take the step of baptism.”
