Pickersfest was held at the Oakview Grange in Centralia on Friday, Aug. 1, through Sunday, Aug. 3. The three-day festival was hosted by the Washington Acoustic Music Association. Artists performing during the festival included Kenny and Amanda Smith, Ranger and the Re-Arrangers, Trio Bistro, White Horn Crossing and 5 Mile Drive. “Festival attendees will be able to participate in jams of old-time, swing, bluegrass and Celtic music, so attendees are invited to bring their instruments,” organizers stated before the festival.
