In focus: Skydivers descend from above to start the Adna Car Show

Skydiver Brett Martin parachuted with an American flag as Sydney Kinswa sang The Star-Spangled Banner during the sixth annual Adna Car Show on Friday, July 18.

The car show lasts all day Friday and continues on Saturday. 



Events and activities scheduled for the car show include food and craft vendors, a cornhole tournament, live bands, DJ music, live and silent auctions, a 50/50 drawing and possibly a car parts swap meet, according to event organizer Jim Smith. A a silent auction will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday. The Backfire Band will  perform at 6 p.m. Saturday.

Like years prior, the car show is being held in the field across from the Adna Grocery Store, located at 109 Bunker Creek Road, Chehalis. All proceeds from the car show go to Adna High School seniors who help out during the show.
