The Chicago Tribute Authority performed at Recreation Park in Chehalis during the Chehalis Music in the Park series on Friday, July 24.
It was the second of three free concerts included in the summer series following Billy Gilman earlier this month.
Next up is headliner Suzy Bogguss, who will perform a free concert on Friday, Aug. 1, at Recreation Park.
She is a Grammy award-winning and platinum-selling artist who has covered country, swing, jazz, folk, Americana and roots music. The live performance — which includes her hits and choice material from her critically acclaimed albums — has been lauded by fans, critics and buyers as “a show not to miss,” a Music in the Park news release stated.
The start time for each free concert is 7 p.m. Admission is free, but attendees must bring their own blankets or chairs. No reserved seating is available as it is all first-come, first-served. Attendees can bring food, and a concession stand will be available.
