In Loving Memory of Addison Williams Jr.: 1937-2023

Posted

Addison Sherman Williams Jr. passed away peacefully on April 1, 2023, at St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, Washington, with his family by his side. Addison was born July 18, 1937, in Medford, Oregon.

He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, and so much more. Addison (Ad) was a go-getter, a fighter, and a man who walked his life with his unwavering faith in the Lord. At the young age of 12, he battled polio. He didn’t just survive, he lived and never allowed what happened to him to hold him back. He demonstrated this by his love of the outdoors.

He enjoyed taking his family on many camping, fishing and hunting trips. Ad loved his family more than any could imagine. He achieved many things throughout his lifetime, but in his eyes, his greatest achievement was his family.

Ad is survived by his wife Margaret of 63 years; his three sons, Gary (Sally), Dean (Karen) and Donald (Toni); his two sisters, Gayla (Doug) and Kristy (Ric); and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. on June 3, 2023, at the Adna Evangelical Church in Adna, Washington. flIn lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Adna Evangelical Church.
