In loving memory of Cheryl Ryan: 1952-2024

Cheryl Marie Ryan, born on Nov. 29, 1952, in Vallejo, California, and passed away on Sept. 19, 2024, at the age of 71, in Winlock, Washington. 

Cheryl dedicated many years of her life to helping others with her work in schools, involvement in youth sports and, lastly, as a home health care aide at Catholic Community Services, from which she retired, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and care. 

Cheryl's love for life was evident in her joyous nature and her deep love for her family. She was a constant presence in her kids, grandchildren and great-grandchildren's lives. Her ability to connect with everyone and her infectious enthusiasm made her a beloved figure in her family and to everyone that knew her. 

She is survived by her loving husband, Gary Ryan; daughters, Christina Ryan-Dawes (Larry) and Kelly Kinsman (Reggie); grandchildren, Danielle Dawes, Ben Dawes, Sara Dawes, Taylour Ryan, Brody Rice, Timber Rice, Gradie Rice and Lucy Kinsman; and great-grandchildren, Easton, Axton, Jaxon, Golden, Damon, Ella and Angel. 

Cheryl was preceded in death by her father, Charles Hundley, and her mother, Jean Long. 

Cheryl's life was a testament to her loving spirit and her unwavering support for her family and friends. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew her and were touched by her kindness.
