Christopher was born Dec. 8, 1965, in San Jose, California, and was raised in Toledo, Washington. He attended Toledo schools and graduated from Toledo High School in 1984, where he played football and track and formed lifelong friendships.
Chris is survived by his son, Ethan; his girlfriend, Shawna; his sisters, Belinda Rodriguez and Brenda Hennessey; brother-in-law, Chuck Hill; nephews, Josh (Meri) Williams and Adam (Kelli) Harris; nieces, Jennifer (Randy) Smith, Brandi (Chris) Sawyer, Bridgette Hennessey, Morgan Easley and Tyler (Armondo) Easley; along with many great-nieces and great-nephews who will miss him dearly.
Chris was preceded in death by his father, James “Jim” Kalista; his mother, Sally Kalista; and his nephew, Justin Williams.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, June 27, at 1 p.m. at his sister Belinda’s home, 1482 State Highway 505, Toledo, WA 98591.
