Chrystol Cook was born in Heidelberg, Germany on Aug. 15, 1976. She lost her courageous battle with cancer on April 17, 2023, in Morton.
She was loved by many and is survived by her husband Ernie at the family home in Toledo. She also leaves behind her parents Dennis Mattox, of Toledo, and Geraldine Spaulding, of Rochester.
She gloated over her four grandchildren, Ruger, Allison, Lilly and Amelia and enjoyed spending time with them whenever she could. She was looking forward to the birth of her fifth grandchild.
In addition to her husband, parents, and grandchildren, she also leaves behind three children, Zachary Mattox, of California, and Sarina Koch and Kaiden Koch, both of Toledo; three stepsons; her grandma Joan Mattox, of Toledo; two sisters; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Chrystol will be missed by many.
A celebration of life will be held from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at the Toledo Senior Center.
In lieu of flowers, her family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 1640, Hagerstown, Maryland, 21741, in Chrystol’s name.
