In Loving Memory of David Haug: 1977-2022

Posted

David William Haug was a lifelong resident of Toledo, Washington. Born Aug. 16, 1977, in Longview, Washington, he passed Jan. 10, 2022, at Toledo, Washington. He graduated from Toledo High School in 1996. David was an avid fisherman and a self-taught, gifted mechanic. He had a heart of gold and was known to give someone who needed it the shirt off his back. If he had a buck to his name he would give it to someone else who needed it more. He knew no stranger and helped anyone who called on him. A jokester at heart, he had a great sense of humor and could cheer up his momma with just a few words. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, David Thomas, Toledo, Mildred and Walter Haug, Tacoma, and uncle Paul Clark, Toledo. David is survived by his parents, Diana Haug, of Toledo, and his father, Roger Haug, also of Toledo; daughter of the heart Mckynzie Williams, Orting; brother Nick Haug and wife Lisa, Tacoma; nephews Michael and Owen Haug; Nan Betty Thomas, Toledo; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

The service will be held at the Toledo New Life, 420 Silver St., Toledo, at 1 p.m. Saturday.
