In Loving Memory of Diana Nelson: Oct. 5, 1956-Sept. 27, 2022

Posted

Diana Marie Nelson sadly lost her prolonged battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her father Nile B. Nelson, mother Sandra L. Sticklin (Nelson/Keto/Johnson) and younger sister Darlene Nelson. Diana dearly loved her three sons, Theodore “Frank” Keithahn III, Jason Barrus and Jacob Barrus. Diana is survived by her youngest sister Christina Sivewright.

Her life partner, Ronald Kirby Von Koehler, was both loving and attentive to Diana’s needs in her final days. Diana attended school in Centralia, Washington, class of 1974 and was a long-time resident in Tenino, Washington. For many years, she worked as a teacher’s aide for the Tenino School District and also worked for the Washington State Department of Corrections.

Ron recalls Diana as a warm and caring person by those she knew and loved. She was best known for her love of cooking and will be greatly missed. Diana passed quietly the morning of Sept. 27, 2022. She is no longer in pain and heaven bound to be with her family and friends that preceded her.

We hope they had a heck of a birthday party for her. God Bless Diana now and forever. Amen.

There will be a viewing from 2 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2022, at Sticklin’s Funeral Chapel, 1437 S. Gold St., Centralia, Washington, 98531, phone number 360- 736-1388.
