In Loving Memory of Glen Roderick: 1941-2021

Glen Roderick was born on Jan. 1, 1941 in Elma, Washington to his parents, Lynn and Edith (Nordwell) Roderick. Glen passed away at home on Sept. 13, 2021. 

Glen is survived by his longtime companion Elvada Capps; daughter Sherri Chamberlin; son Bruce Roderick; stepson Jason Capps; four grandchildren Sonny Sparks, Levi Sparks, Cruze Chamberlin and Beth Capps; one great-grandchild Levi Sparks, Jr. and his best friend Darrell Driver. He is preceded in death by his parents Lynn and Edith, brother Gerry, sister Sandra Walters, stepson Brad Capps, and lifelong friend and cousin Asa Bateman. 

Glen graduated from Montesano High School. After high school, he served time as a U.S. Marine. He enjoyed spending time with Elvada at their home in Doty. He often could be found working in his yard or doing a project. Glen was also an avid Seahawks and Husky fan. 

Glen will be missed by many loved ones, family and friends. There’s no more pain, he is at peace. 

Glen’s family would like to thank Providence Regional Cancer System, and Providence Sound Home Care and Hospice for the care they gave. 

At Glen’s request, there will be no service.
