In Loving Memory of Johnnie Richard (Rich) Lavender: 1958-2021

Johnnie Richard (Rich) Lavender passed away at home on Sept. 3, 2021. Rich was born in Chehalis, Washington, on April 1, 1958, to Johnnie W. and Nellie R. Lavender. Rich was a unique individual who made no excuse for his personality. He was a one in a million type of guy. He was known by lots of people from all walks of life. He was always willing to help anyone in any way. Rich was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters Patsy Scritchfield, Jean Monahan and Rhonda Lister. Rich is survived by his wife, Judy May, at home; sister, Leslee (Terry) Lowther of Onalaska; stepdaughter Dixie (Ken) Bailey of Longview; and stepson Josh Pollock of Tacoma. He had numerous nieces and nephews, and of course, his four legged kids, Gypsy the Boxer, and Kirby The Pekingese. 

Rich will be remembered by many and forgotten by few. 

A service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 25, 2021 at Alexander Park in Chehalis, Washington, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Ken Rieper.
