In Loving Memory of Kenneth Cook: 1939-2023

Kenneth James Cook, 84, of Tenino, Washington passed away Saturday, Nov. 5, 2022. He was born in Longview, Washington to Ruby Grace Bliss and William James Cook. In 1956, Kenneth graduated from Kelso High School in Kelso, Washington. After graduation, he proudly served in the United States Air Force for four years in Florida. 

Kenneth married Sandra on Dec. 8, 1960. He worked for Union Boilermakers for 35 years. Kenneth was an active member of the Tenino Lions Club, Skookumchuck Grange and the Tenino Volunteer Fire Department, serving 25 years. 

He is survived by his son, Thomas Cook (Sharon); daughter, Kendra Arrington (Evan); granddaughters, Brynn, Stacey and Sara; and grandson, Brian. 

Kenneth was preceded in death by his father and mother, William James Cook and Ruby Grace Cook, and brother, Dale Brett. 

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at The Kodiak Room, 225 Sussex Ave. W., Tenino, Washington. 

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make donations to the Tenino Volunteer Fire Department. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Mills & Mills Funeral Chapel Funeral Home.
