Kenneth Lee Deguise passed away in his sleep after a 20-year struggle with respiratory disease. His parents, Clifford and Wanda Deguise, and brothers, Raymond and Burdell, preceded him. His surviving siblings are Gerald Deguise, Faye Hull, Barbra Kalahan, Linda Goolsby Roper, James Deguise, Edna Street and Lowell Deguise.
When he had his health, Ken enjoyed fishing, camping and taking care of small dogs. His favorite fishing spot was off the Michigan Hill Bridge. His greatest passion was genealogy. He would spend long days researching the family name and relatives. He had a knack for finding someone else’s junk and making a useful product out of it.
He was very opinionated, and you were guaranteed to know what he thought. One of his strengths was that he was the type of person who would give you anything he had and never worry about himself, which also cost him at times. He will be missed, but he is at peace because he no longer has to struggle to breathe.
