Lois Priscilla McKee (Henricksen), 89, joined her Lord and Savior on March 2, 2025, surrounded by family at her home in Tumwater, Washington. Born March 4, 1935, as the third child to her parents, Leonard and Priscilla, she grew up with her four sisters in the brick home on Jackson Highway, south of Chehalis, Washington. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she was known for her welcoming smile, stylishness, ability to host a party or picnic, and her willingness to always lend a helping hand.
Lois dedicated the majority of her life working in the administrative office profession, retiring from the Qualex Photo Processing Plant, along with being the bookkeeper for McKee Radiator Service, though her proudest service was as the secretary to the fire commissioners of Lewis County Fire District 6, retiring after 34 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard M. Henricksen and Priscilla E. Johnson; two children, Gary (Danny) and Cheryl; and her husband, Loren Dale McKee. She is survived by sisters Beverly Walsh, Janice Iorio, Warna Greenstreet, and Bonnie Putyrae; children Cindy Hutchins, Rick (Pam) Hutchins, Carolyn Hiatt, Christine Sweet, Paula (Loren) Hiatt, and Greg (Lori) Pulver; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Some of her greatest joys were time spent with her sisters and their birthday trips, enjoying time at her beach home, visiting with her friends at the weekly Frosty’s gathering, cooking, and the many trips to the sand dunes and casinos with her late husband, Dale, and friends.
Funeral: Funeral services were held on March 12, 2025, at 11 a.m., under the guidance of Mills & Mills Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 5725 Littlerock Rd. SW, Tumwater, Washington.
