In loving memory of Ryan Gilbert: 1980-2024

Ryan Chase Gilbert, 43, passed away on July 18, 2024, in Rochester, Washington. Born in Houston, Texas, Ryan was a cherished member of his community and a beloved figure in his family. 

Ryan graduated from Rochester High School and furthered his education at Centralia College. His academic pursuits laid a strong foundation for his subsequent career achievements at Industrial Fabrication & Testing, Inc., first as a production manager in 2000, then sole owner in 2016. On Jan. 1, 2024, he became a co-owner with Aaron Lyon, son of the original owner and founder, Ken Lyon. 

Ryan is survived by a loving family, including his father, Glinn Ryan Gilbert; mother, Colleen Hamlin Gilbert; children, Chase Austin Gilbert, Elissa Ryann Gilbert and Jaxon Ryder Gilbert; and their mother, Jessica Louise Gilbert; sister, Tiffany Ann Hills; brother-in-law, James Edward Hills; nephew, James Brycen Hills, and wife, Morgan; and great-niece Hadley Ann Hills. His family remembers him as a devoted father, a caring son and a loyal brother and best friend whose presence enriched their lives immeasurably. 

A celebration of life will be held in honor of Ryan at 11 a.m. Aug. 10, 2024. The celebration will take place at Industrial Fabrication & Testing, Inc., located at 138 Chase Road in Chehalis, Washington. This gathering will serve as a tribute to his life and the memories he leaves behind.
