Steven F. Jones died March 23, 2023 at his home in Puyallup, Washington. He was born Oct. 14, 1935 in Chehalis, Washington and was raised on the farm of his parents, Frank M. Jones and Edna Detering Jones in Wildwood.
Steve graduated from Boistfort High School, attended Centralia College, and Western Washington University after serving in the U. S. Army.
Steve is survived by his wife Lorene, sons Keith Jones of Ellensburg, Washington, and Rev. Bruce Jones of Gladstone, Oregon and their families. He is also survived by a brother, Edgar Jones of Curtis, and sister Nellie Wagner of Wapato.
A memorial service will be held on April 22, 2023 at South Lakeshore Christian Church, 1740 South 84th Street, Tacoma, Washington where Steve and Lorene were very active members.
