Verdelle Louise Bullock, age 79, of Centralia, Washington, passed away peacefully at her home on Feb. 22, 2023, following a lengthy illness. Verdelle came to Centralia in 1972 with Dr. Larry D. Hull to help establish Washington Orthopedic Center. She worked there as a surgical assistant and physician’s assistant for 32 years and enjoyed caring for “her” patients every day. She loved to sew, cook, paint, travel, attend the theater, work at her church and just about anything else that came her way.
Verdelle was preceded by her beloved husband, Verlyn Bullock, and is survived by her close relatives and many others she called “family.” Verdelle was an excellent mother, colleague and friend, and we will all miss her dearly.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at the Centralia First Church of the Nazarene, 1119 W. First St., Centralia. We invite all of Verdelle’s loved ones and friends to join us in celebrating her amazing life.
