William "Bill" Henry Nyberg was born Feb. 21, 1935. He passed peacefully in his sleep Nov. 13, 2022. He was 87 years old.
He is survived by his wife Janet Nyberg; daughter Dina (Mark) Hoiseck; three sons Josh (Jodie) Nyberg, Jeff (Bridget) Nyberg and Brock (Shanna) Nyberg; 11 grandchildren, Raven, Sky and Sage Nyberg, Chloe, Annalise and Braelyn Nyberg, Mia, Karina and Brooke Nyberg, and Dylan and Payson Hoiseck; and one great-grandchild, Hannah Eschen. He was preceded in death by his seven older brothers, one sister and parents.
Bill was born to Gustav and Anna Isabel Nyberg in Winlock, Washington in 1935. He spent two years in the U.S. Navy on the USS Pritchett as an yeoman. He worked in mortgage banking early in his career and then started Go Taxi in Lewis County after retiring from banking. Bill enjoyed spending time with his wife and family, traveling, cooking, gardening, coupon clipping and grocery shopping. Bill was a huge Washington Husky fan and loved his hometowns of Winlock and Toledo.
There will be a celebration of life for Bill at a date to be determined.
