In loving memory of Zachary Estrada-Moreno: 1995-2025

Posted

Zachary Tyler Estrada-Moreno passed away on Friday, April 4, 2025, at the age of 29.

Zachary, the son of Shawna and Gustavo Estrada, was born on Dec. 12, 1995, in Centralia, Washington, where he grew up and graduated from Centralia High School. He later moved to the greater Seattle area, where he met his longtime girlfriend, Vivian Hall. Zach was always charismatic and full of life, known for working hard to achieve his many aspirations and goals.

Zach’s favorite pastime was eating food of any kind — especially when his cousin Damon was cooking. He loved spending the day at Alki Beach or catching a Mariners game. He had a passion for photography, especially going for drives to capture a good sunset. At any given time, he could often be heard saying, “What ya got?”, “Let me hit that,” and “Hold my glasses” (in no specific order). He loved camping trips, keg stands, beer bongs, and night rides through the dunes with his large extended family. Zach adored spending time with his family, especially his nephews, and loved them all fiercely.

Zach was one of a kind. If you were lucky enough to be loved by him, you were truly blessed. He was deeply loved by his family and will be greatly missed.

Zachary is survived by his grandmother, Phyllis Bondurant; his parents, Shawna and Gustavo Estrada; and his many siblings: Jessica Guerrero (Thomas Soeby), Joshua Moreno (Victoria Miller), Alejandra Camarena Magallon (Pedro), Elicia Estrada (Jessica Woods), Abigail Estrada (Rashel Ballard), and Ethan Estrada. He is also survived by his nephews: Jayden Moreno, Bentley and Korben Estrada, Jaxson Soeby, Adrian and Julian Camarena; and his nieces: Reina Soeby and Somaya Camarena.

He was preceded in death by his younger brother, Memphis Brownrigg; his grandfather, Bradley Moreno; and his aunt, Rebecca McClain.

A celebration of life will be held for Zachary at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 24, at the Centralia Moose Lodge. All who knew and loved him are welcome to attend. Updates will be posted on Facebook under the event created for Zach’s celebration.
