Friday morning, Grays Harbor County Sheriff’s Office] detectives followed up on an Internet Crimes Against Children investigation with assistance from patrol deputies and detectives from the Aberdeen and Hoquiam police departments.
During the initial investigation, detectives located evidence indicating that a 32-year-old Grays Harbor County resident was in possession of depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
A search warrant was executed at the suspect’s residence. Evidence collected during the investigation will be processed and evaluated as the investigation continues.
The suspect was booked into the Grays Harbor County Jail for possession of depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct in the first degree.
This investigation remains active. Additional charges may be considered as evidence is reviewed and the investigation progresses.
