Detectives from the Joint Narcotics Enforcement Team (JNET) arrested two Chehalis residents last week following a successful controlled buy of suspected methamphetamine, according to a probable cause affidavit from the Lewis County Prosecutor’s Office.
Prosecutors subsequently filed charges against both suspects.
Krissy L. Killian, 32, of Chehalis, made a preliminary appearance in Lewis County Superior Court on Jan. 16 after being charged with one count each of delivery of a controlled substance and unlawful use of a building for drug purposes.
Killian’s alleged co-conspirator, Mykl Teeter, 34, made a preliminary appearance on Jan. 20 for the same charges, though Teeter’s charging information alleges he delivered methamphetamine while within 1,000 feet of a school bus stop.
Killian and Teeter both face up to 10 years in prison for the delivery charge, if convicted.
During Killian’s preliminary hearing, Judge Joely Yeager set bail at $100,000, citing Killian’s pending matter in the same court for alleged first-degree burglary — and her inability to follow the court’s conditions of release — as justification for the high amount.
Court records indicate Killian was released from custody Dec. 29, 2025, on a $20,000 unsecured bond for the burglary case, which includes a fourth-degree assault charge.
Because of her latest arrest, Killian may now be liable to pay that $20,000.
Prosecutors say Killian does not have any prior felony convictions.
Teeter, however, has prior felony convictions for multiple protection order violations, second-degree possession of stolen property, second-degree burglary and first-degree trafficking of stolen property, among other offenses, according to a probable cause affidavit.
Prosecutors stated Teeter has had 44 prior warrants issued for his arrest.
During Teeter’s preliminary hearing, Yeager said she viewed this type of offense as a “huge risk to community safety” and noted the alleged crime happened “pretty much down the street.”
Yeager set Teeter’s bail at $25,000 cash or bond, due mainly, she said, to his lack of income.
According to prosecutors, Killian and Teeter sold methamphetamine to a confidential informant from inside a Chehalis apartment between the days of Dec. 1, 2025, and Jan. 15, 2026.
Killian resides at the apartment, according to the charging information.
On Jan. 15, detectives reportedly executed a warrant on the apartment and discovered additional evidence including suspected methamphetamine, packaging and a digital scale.
Both Killian and Teeter are scheduled to appear for arraignments on Jan. 22.
