A juvenile driver and passenger walked away from a wreck without serious injury after driving the car at more than 100 miles per hour, according to the Thurston County Sheriff's Office.

About 3:20 p.m. Saturday, deputies were dispatched to the crash in the 5100 block of Shincke Road Northeast. Deputies say the vehicle was "traveling in excess of 100 mph when it left the road."

And once off the road, deputies say the car traveled more than 930 feet before it came to a stop.

The juvenile driver faces a reckless driving charge.
