The Morton-White Pass boys basketball team earned its first win of the season on Friday with an 83-56 win over Willapa Valley.
Judah Kelly was unstoppable, as he tied the MWP single-game record with 41 points. Tony Belgiorno also had an outstanding game offensively, as he added 30.
Kelly and Belgiorno also played well in the T-Wolves loss on Tuesday, as Belgiorno scored 38 and hauled in 10 rebounds while Kelly added 28.
MWP coach Kevin Dunlap said that in Friday’s win, the T-Wolves played better defensively, and he feels things are starting to come together well on that side of the floor.
The Wolves are only in action once this week, as they’ll head to Eatonville on Tuesday.
