Kyle Anthony Lydon

Kyle had a zest for life. He loved his family and had a special bond with his nephew, TJ.  They loved to facetime, talk about United States Army tactics and how much they loved the family pets. Kyle was an avid Seahawks fan and loved the Huskies. He was a loyal friend and a fierce competitor who loved the mountains, snowboarding, a good game of pick-up basketball, bowling and playing cribbage. Kyle loved to golf and was elated to get a hole-in-one while playing a round with his dad at Fort Carson this past July. Always up for a debate, Kyle would argue until you knew he was right and then buy you a beer. He looked forward to family gatherings so he could share his signature caramel apple cheese cake.

After graduating from Adna High School he attended Eastern Washington University, receiving his Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business. He worked for the Carpenter’s Union until joining the United States Army in 2017. He was stationed at Fort Carson, Colo., as a Combat Engineer. Kyle had a large personality and an unforgettable spirit. He was the oldest of three children, born July 29, 1987.

Kyle will be greatly missed by his parents, Mike and Paula; his sisters, Kadie and Kendall; and his favorite person in the world, his nephew, TJ.

There will be a celebration of life with military honors from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., January 4, 2020, at Riverside Golf Course. Remembrances may be made to the Lewis County Animal Shelter in Kyle’s memory.
