Letter to the editor: Banning Trump from the ballot with no convictions?

Posted

A letter writer recently wrote that the country should bar Donald Trump from being on the presidential ballot because he will soon be convicted of at least one felony, if not more.

He thinks we should put the conviction before the trial. Well, that sure saves a lot of time, but let me ask what we should do with those bodies who were hanged before the verdict came in?

I mean the ones who were found not guilty?

When the corpses arrive at the funeral home, will there be a letter of abject apology included? I ask because I’m new to this kind of thinking.
