I can't emphasize enough the importance of voting yes for the Centralia School District levy. I can understand that not everyone supports all the decisions that are made by the Centralia School Board. However, it is not reasonable to punish those decisions by withholding money; money needed to provide all the programs that provide a complete education for our children and all their different needs.
If a message needs to be sent to the district, that message should be sent through the open lines of communication that are already established. There is no reason to vote no as a protest against additional taxes, since this will not increase taxes, just maintain the current level. Voting yes makes the statement that you do support the education of all children in our community for their and our future.
Please be responsible and vote in favor of the Centralia school levy.
