I am writing today to urge support of the Centralia school levy. This levy is not for any extra bells and whistles. This levy is to continue operating as the Centralia schools are today.
It is not a new tax. The current levy expires in December and this one will keep things going until December 2025.
This is a great time to remind you that many Centralia kids choose to stay here in town, or come back here to raise their own families. These are our kids.
The kids in school today could possibly be your mechanic, your builder, your city planner, maybe even your physician someday. Let's give them the same chance we all had growing up here and pass this levy. They are depending on us. Mail your ballots by April 25.
