Chronicle columnist Julie McDonald is upset that one of her favorite people has lost favor with the Republican Party.
Former congresswoman Jaime Herrera-Beutler, who voted to impeach President Trump, was roundly booed at the recent GOP convention in Spokane, with many delegates turning their backs on her.
Ms. McDonald makes a better Democrat than a columnist.
