Why do officials seem to think taxes are the answer? More taxes for the 911 system, more taxes for Washington Park cameras!
How about a big “no” on this approach. Let the criminals pay for this. Quibbling over non-criminals using the 911 system is stupid and pettifogging.
How about a tax on those committing crimes, say a 25% surcharge on sentencing?
