I would love to see votes in the state Legislature and the national Congress printed in the paper. I saw it years ago in another paper. The bill number and title, the total votes on the bill, and if the local electeds voted yea or nay in a chart. That would be news.
Bravo for printing the piece about the ilani casino. I haven't seen anything but glowing, mythical stories in the media since tribes started earning serious money from their casinos. Printing a factual piece like that is brave and interesting. And news.
