Letter to the Editor: On YMCA Issue, County Doesn’t Have a Leg to Stand On

Posted

I just read the most recent article about the YMCA suing the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners for denying the zoning change to allow for the camp.

It doesn’t sound like the board has a leg to stand on. Their questions and issues appear to have centered not on politics but personal bias.

It could be argued that they would deny an identified gay person from opening or owning a bakery. They should be removed from their positions for cause.
