Using sales tax instead of property taxes will make sure the funding is spread out to all who live here as well as visitors who come to the county. Lewis County emergency services respond to all emergency calls within the county.
Steady funding source received from .2 sales tax on retail to maintain our first responders communication system will ensure better reliability.
