A Level 3 sex offender with convictions for indecent exposure and possession of depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct has registered to live in the 100 block of Elot Drive in Chehalis, according to a notification from the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office.
Kenneth Emory Allen, 31, is not wanted by law enforcement at this time.
“The individual who appears on this notification has been convicted of a sex offense that requires registration with the sheriff’s office,” the sheriff’s office stated. “Further, their previous history places them in a classification level that reflects the potential to reoffend. The individual served the sentence imposed by the court and has properly notified the sheriff’s office of their current address. The law does not require this offender to do anything other than register.”
Allen is described as a white male with brown hair and brown eyes who weighs about 290 pounds and stands at about 6-foot-2.
He was most recently convicted in 2016 in Lewis County Superior Court for four counts of second-degree possession of depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
The offense involved Allen, who was 22 years old at the time, possessing multiple photos on electronic devices of girls of various ages engaged in sexually explicit conduct, according to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office. He was sentenced to 60 months in prison.
Allen was previously convicted of one count of indecent exposure in 2013 in Lewis County Superior Court after he exposed himself to an unrelated 31-year-old woman for sexual gratification, according to the sheriff's office. Allen was 21 years old at the time of the offense.
“Allen has been identified as a Level 3 offender and a clear risk to reoffend and this community notification is required,” the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office stated.
“Using this public information to threaten, intimidate or harass sex offenders will not be tolerated by the law enforcement agencies of Lewis County,” the sheriff’s office stated. “This abuse could potentially terminate our ability to release this important information to the public.”
