Posted

April 14 is the registration deadline for those voting in the upcoming special election on April 22, according to the Lewis County Auditor’s Office.

That’s the deadline to submit voter registration forms or update current registration remotely. The changes can be made online at www.votewa.gov, at a drivers licensing location or by mail.

Any mailed forms must be received by the Lewis County Auditor's office on or before the registration deadline. Mail-in forms can be picked up at any post office, library or public school district office.

Residents can also register to vote or update their registration in person at the Lewis County Auditor’s Office through election day. The office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on election day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The auditor’s office is available to assist elderly residents or residents with disabilities with registration and voting.

The special election concerns school levies for the Mossyrock, Onalaska and Winlock School districts and a construction bond for Fire District No. 4 in Morton.
